The Execrable Bede A magnificent showcase for Orlando Julius, in collaboration with the incredible Heliocentrics. Songs alternate between vocals and instrumentals, and Julius is given plenty of room to do what he does best -- making compelling, foot-stomping, head-bobbing, booty-shaking music. Free your ass and your mind will follow. Favorite track: Sangodele.

about

The Nigerian Afro-soul master returns with UK collective The Heliocentrics for a brand new album of deep Afro beats. The collaboration mixes rare original compositions (‘Buju Buje’, ‘Aseni’), unreleased original songs (‘Jaiyede Afro’) with new tracks and an Afrocentric cover of James Brown’s ‘In The Middle’.
